Aircraft Transporting Pete Hegseth Required to Land in UK Due to Crack in Windshield

A jet transporting the US defense secretary was forced to make an emergency landing in the United Kingdom on Wednesday following a fracture was identified in the plane's windshield, per an announcement which confirmed that the secretary was unharmed.

"The aircraft landed in accordance with standard protocol and everyone onboard, among them Pete Hegseth, is unharmed," an official representative commented in a online announcement.

He was traveling back from a quick journey to Brussels when the incident occurred.

This occurrence isn't the first occasion that a United States armed forces jet transporting a top government figure has encountered equipment failures.

In a previous incident this year, a American military jet ferrying Marco Rubio to the city in Germany was compelled to head back to Washington DC after suffering a technical issue.
